I loved fairy tales when I was younger. Every time I went to the library during school, I would get a complete works of the Brothers Grimm. I'm pretty sure we also had a Hans Christian Andersen book when I was younger. Regardless, I have had two favorite fairy tales that never changed. I can't pick which one I love more.

The first one is the Goose Girl. It's a Brothers Grimm Fairy Tale about a girl who ends up getting bossed around by her servant and everything starts to go horribly for her, but things work out in the end. If you've never read it, I suggest that you do. It's a dark fairy tale with a happy ending, but it's morbid and I love it.

The other one would have to be Rapunzel. I always loved the part about the guy being blinded and then wandering around and they finally find each other. I used to think it was so romantic when I was younger. Now I want to go find those fairy tales.

DAY 28 -> FIRST TV SHOW OBSESSION
So, my first tv show obsession. This started when I was a kid. So, I was trying to think of which show it would be. I thought about Sailor Moon, I would run home to watch it on Toonami after school and we would hold the plastic goblets at my gram's like Prince Diamond would hold his glass. But, I would have to say, that was probably not my first obsession. That is Pokemon. I was obsessed with the show. My brother had yellow, blue, and red for the gameboy and I always played red, he played blue, and Ashley played yellow. Then, a few years later, I bought Pokemon Crystal and the game guide for it. I used to watch it every time it was on. The Pokemon movie was my first major buy as a child with my birthday money. We even used to play Pokemon tag at recess where we picked a pokemon and pretended to be it while we played tag. I had tons of cards. I could sing the theme song and probably still can. Then, the guys brought it back in high school and lately, I've been stealing Nicole's DS to play her game. Okay, so the obsession didn't completely die out. I absolutely loved Pokemon.

DAY 27 -> BEST PILOT EPISODE
What I look for in a pilot episode is that it makes me want to watch more. It has to intrigue me and weirdly enough, I think I have to say that LOST had a great pilot episode. I know I said it had the WTF season finale (that was almost every season), but it also had an amazing pilot. It introduced you to the characters, but just barely, so you had to watch more. There was mystery. You didn't know what exactly was going on but it wasn't 'WTF' worthy, it was more like 'Wow, I want to know more!" Yeah, it was pretty awesome.

DAY 26->  WTF? SEASON FINALE
Basically, I've had this planned since day one. I knew what I was going to put here. All the LOST season finales were pretty WTF? I was always confused. I never understood what was going on or why they put stuff like that in the season finales. The one that take it all, though, would have to be season six. It was the series finale. I actually had questions. LOST was supposed to wrap everything up, yet they decided to keep questions or not answer ones that were brought up in season one and never answered. It is aggravating. DAY 25 -> A Show You Plan on Watching (old or new)

Sliders  was on when I was a kid. I was about five when it would have aired for the first time on tv. All I remember is that my parents used to watch it and I always thought it was interesting. Perhaps I'm cheating on this question because I've actually started watching it, but I'm not through it yet and not very far. This is one of the only shows that I really plan on watching at this point. I can't think of anything else that interests me. Basically, it's about these people who are basically stuck jumping, or sliding as they call it, through dimensions. It's not really time travel, because they aren't going from one time period to the next. No, they are sliding through dimensions. They sometimes even meet their alternate universe selves while they are there. It's interesting. Apparently, characters leave throughout the series and the only character that stays the whole time is the one I found annoying, but nonetheless, I want to continue it.

DAY 24 -> BEST QUOTE

Okay, so it took me a while to think over what the best quote was and I realized, that I don't really pick quotes from tv shows. My roommate, Alexa, and I quote this one part in 30Rock when it was still funny, but that is about it. Thinking harder, I do quote this line all the time from Glee. It makes me crack up every time I hear it, because it makes no sense and Sue Sylvester is made of win. I couldn't find the actual clip, but it's the quote.

DAY 23 -> MOST ANNOYING CHARACTER


Prue Halliwell from Charmed, with Paige Halliwell coming in a close second. Mainly, I couldn't stand Prue. I don't know what it was about her character. She was quite bitchy and annoying. I was never sure what the appeal to her character was. I wasn't too sad when she died on the show. There is just something about this character that rubs me the wrong way. It's like she gave up the things she wanted to do and by sacrificing stuff like this, she expected everyone else to do so as well. She is also the "super witch" which I hated. She had telekinesis (one of my favorite powers) and yes, that power is pretty awesome, BUT I don't think that she should have been the "super witch". For some reason, she was always the one doing the risky things or going undercover because she could handle it. Yeah, right.  Not exactly a great loss when the character was killed off.

DAY 22 -> FAVORITE SERIES FINALE
The Scrubs season eight finale wasn't technically the series finale, but it was originally made that way and I consider it to be the finale. Season 9 was dumb and not exactly Scrubs, so 8 is the finale in my eyes. It is even called My Finale. This episode was just amazing. It tied up everything and I loved how it ended, because if you didn't want to believe what J.D. saw was reality, you didn't have to (although I did).

DAY 21 -> FAVORITE SHIP


I despise fanmade music videos, but this one was actually done by CBS. So, I decided on Barney and Robin as my favorite ship of all time, even though Charlie and Claire from LOST were probably the first couple I shipped. I watched How I Met Your Mother and all I knew was that Barney and Robin belonged together. They are so similar, they want nearly the same things, and they are just generally awesome when they are together. ( major spoilers! ) I absolutely love them together. They are destined to be!
